President Donald Trump took a symbolic lap around the Daytona International Speedway in his presidential limo, "The Beast," on Sunday ahead of the Daytona 500. This marked his second appearance at NASCAR's premier event while in office, showcasing his continued support for the sport's fans and the American spirit of competition.

Trump's motorcade navigated the track, giving the crowd a memorable sight before the race began. He was accompanied by his granddaughter, Carolina, adding a personal touch to the event.

In a statement released as he flew to Daytona, Trump praised the race for its unifying power, saying, "The Daytona 500 brings together people from all walks of life...they all join in celebrating a shared passion for speed, adrenaline, and the thrill of the race."

His appearance was not without controversy, as some criticized the use of taxpayer money for such events. However, Trump's fans at the speedway were thrilled, seeing his presence as a celebration of American tradition and automotive prowess!

The AI Stock Poised to Soar Under Trump’s $500B Plan

Viral tweet prompts DOGE to audit the Fort Knox gold reserve, what happens next is amazing!

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) has called for a physical audit of the gold reserves at Fort Knox, an initiative supported by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk. This comes after social media discussions highlighted the lack of a comprehensive audit of the U.S. gold reserves since 1974.

In response to a suggestion by Zerohedge on X, Musk questioned, "Surely it’s reviewed at least every year?" Paul quickly responded, "Nope. Let’s do it," endorsing the idea of Musk's DOGE team examining the gold. Fort Knox, located in Kentucky, holds an estimated 4,580 tons of gold, worth approximately $425 billion.

This move follows years of speculation and conspiracy theories about the integrity of the gold stored at the U.S. Bullion Depository. The last known audit was a partial one conducted in 1974, leaving many to wonder if the gold is still there or if it has been tampered with or moved.

While no official audit has been scheduled yet, the dialogue between Paul and Musk has sparked significant interest in government transparency regarding national assets.

The audit of the Fort Knox gold reserves has a family component as well. Rand Paul’s father Ron Paul was a proponent of the idea at the New York Metals & Minerals Investment Conference in 2014.

Tom Hanks gets BLASTED for “racist” skit on SNL’s 50th anniversary show!

Actor Tom Hanks faced significant backlash from conservative viewers following his portrayal of a Trump-supporting character during the "Saturday Night Live" 50th anniversary special, which aired Sunday night.

Hanks reprised his role as "Doug," a MAGA hat-wearing contestant on the recurring "Black Jeopardy" skit. In the sketch, Doug's refusal to shake hands with host Darnell Hayes, played by Kenan Thompson, drew ire from those who felt it painted a derogatory picture of Trump supporters.

Conservatives swiftly criticized the portrayal on social media, with former Robert F. Kennedy Jr. aide Link Lauren ripped Hanks on X saying, "This tired trope that MAGA is racist is disgusting. SNL is an unfunny show for snobbish liberal elites."

The sketch, which originally debuted in 2016, aimed to highlight common ground between the characters but instead sparked controversy for its perceived insensitivity. Hanks' depiction was seen by many as reinforcing negative stereotypes about Trump's voter base.
