Karoline Leavitt scorches Chuck Schumer for blaming CANADIAN air crash on Trump
“It’s incredibly irresponsible for Chuck Schumer to say such a thing when the investigation is still underway"

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt sharply criticized Sen. Chuck Schumer on Tuesday for linking President Donald Trump to a Delta Air Lines plane crash in Canada. The incident occurred Monday when a Delta jet flipped over while landing at Toronto Pearson Airport, with no fatalities reported.
“It’s incredibly irresponsible for Chuck Schumer to say such a thing when the investigation is still underway, this crash unfortunately took place in Canadian airspace with Canadian air traffic controllers overseeing it,” she said.
She dismissed Schumer's claim that Trump’s recent cuts to the Federal Aviation Administration’s workforce played a role in the accident, emphasizing that "no air-traffic controllers have been let go" by the Trump administration.
Schumer had argued that despite the crash occurring in Canada, the FAA's responsibility for inspection might have contributed to the mishap due to Trump's layoffs. Leavitt countered by highlighting the jurisdiction of Canadian authorities over the incident.
"DOGE Dividend" floated as a way to RETURN billions of savings to taxpayers

Elon Musk is considering potentially distributing $5,000 checks to Americans using savings from his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk responded to a proposal on X, saying he would "check with the President" about the initiative, which would distribute 20% of DOGE's savings back to taxpayers.
The proposal, suggested by James Fishback of the investment firm Azoria, aims to return savings made by DOGE to "the ~79 million tax-paying households," equating to about $5,000 per household. DOGE, which was established by executive order under President Trump, targets a $2 trillion saving through various efficiency measures across government departments.
However, the legality and feasibility of such a direct payment program remain uncertain as DOGE faces numerous lawsuits regarding access to sensitive federal data. Musk's response to another tweet about the checks was cautious, emphasizing that the decision ultimately lies with the President.
This proposal follows Musk's aggressive approach to reducing federal spending, though it remains to be seen if the savings claimed by DOGE will translate into tangible benefits for the American public.
CIA drones penetrate deep in to Mexico on the hunt for Cartel’s secret labs

The CIA has escalated its operations in Mexico, using covert drone missions to target the production of fentanyl, according to U.S. officials. These secret drone flights, part of an expanded program under the Trump administration, aim to locate and dismantle drug labs amidst the ongoing drug crisis, particularly focusing on the deadly synthetic opioid fentynal.
The initiative, which began originally under the Biden administration, has seen a ramp up in activity since Trump's return to office, with drones penetrating deep into Mexican territory. The intelligence gathered is shared with Mexican authorities to disrupt the operations of drug cartels.
Officials confirmed that the drones have successfully identified labs by detecting chemicals used in fentanyl production. Despite the covert nature of these flights, the Mexican government has not publicly acknowledged them, and there's been no comment from the CIA. This move aligns with Trump's broader strategy to combat drug trafficking by labeling cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, enhancing U.S. efforts in the region.
