Historians remain skeptical. The Ark, last mentioned in the Bible around 587 B.C., vanished after the Babylonian conquest of Jerusalem. Theories suggest it resides in Ethiopia or elsewhere, but no physical evidence supports the CIA’s claims. “If someone claims that remote viewing proves the existence of something … they should produce the Ark,” said Joseph McMoneagle, a former CIA remote viewer, dismissing the findings.
